Stir fry. Easy. Rice in the rice cooker. Chicken or shrimp in the wok and then gradually add onions, broccoli, baby corn, cauliflower, snap peas, or whatever veggies you want. Sauce is made with 1/4-3/4 cup soy sauce, 2 TBS sesame oil, garlic, 2 teaspoons brown sugar, 1 teaspoon worshteshire sauce, and a bullion cube plus 1 cup water, and 2 TBS corn starch.

I'm not much of a cook, but I know how to put rice in a pot and fry and egg and a few veggies for fried rice. I'm vegetarian so I do a lot of eggs. If avocados are on sale, I love make egg avocado bagel sandwiches.

go-to recipe for tomato sauce

First, put a bunch of olive oil in a pan and heat it on medium.

Add 1 or 2 cloves of garlic, swirl it around for a minute or two until it's sort of golden brown and the oil has picked up the flavor, then remove the garlic. Add about half of a can of tomato paste and fry for a few minutes, stirring vigorously. Add a splash of wine to the tomato paste, then put in a 28 oz can of whole peeled tomatoes and their juice. Stir everything together, poking apart the tomatoes with your spoon, add oregano and salt and pepper and any other seasonings you want, then bring to a boil. Add a peeled, halved onion, then reduce to a simmer and cook until you feel like it's done. Remove the onion before serving.

You can do it with real tomatoes as well (just blanch and peel them first) but it's a lot more hassle and you can't get good tomatoes outside of summer anyway.

Fry some chicken and mushroom slices, add cream, soy sauce, turmeric and paprika. Eat with rice or linguine.

I haven't been cooking as much as I used to do ever since my sis took over cooking duties, but like, I'm still fond of things like Toasted Pasta.

Heat up a pan, throw in olive oil and/or butter, add veggies/meats of your choice, wait maybe two or three minutes, then add (COOKED) pasta, extra seasonings are optional (I like parsley and garlic powder if I have no fresh garlic), and toast it up! The pasta gets so yummy and crunchy. Mmm !!!
