Not at all. I am the worst person to talk to about band members because I don't know who any of them are, I just listen to the music.

Considering I only follow like, 4 groups, yep. Helps that they're not American groups so they tend to be more involved with fans/do things outside the CDs/concerts/etc that allow you to get to know the members.

Definitely not.

Some of that is respecting peoples' privacy and focusing on the art, but if I'm honest, probably 80% of it is laziness.

No, not at all. I'm all about the music. I don't even know the names of hardly anyone in my favorite bands.

I mean, I've been on the Linkin Park fan mailing list for YEARS, so yes. Sad still what happened. =(

I also love Tyler and Josh from Twenty One Pilots - they're adorkable.

And while I listen to a lot of bands, there's really only a handful of them that I can safely say I follow closely enough to know names of the band members and other stats. There's the two above mentioned plus Years & Years, Dir en Grey, Exist Trace (japanese female rock band), and I used to love the shit out of 2NE1 - there's also maybe two or three other bands I say I follow closely. =)

I also recently discovered Nothing More and am absolutely smitten and am slowly learning about them. xD

most of my fave bands aren't around anymore due to members being dead or retired. :(

I follow their social media accounts and occasionally YouTube binge performances, lyric vids, or interviews. I tend to idolize or crush hard on lead singers, but I don't search their individual accounts or anything. I have two tattoos inspired by favorite songs and planning one more. But I'm not really into their personal lives because it just feels too much like stalking.

The closest I get is checking YouTube to see if there's a new Samantha Fish concert video up. She does a LOT of concert videos of fair quality.
