OK, what you have to understand is that these are long movies. So whatever you think you know about the characters is going to change a lot by the end.

I would never have guessed that the climax of the film would be a wedding between Finn and Kylo, but it actually works, and I was bawling when we got there.

I just didn't get the impression that a movie this huge would have gay characters. Not saying it shouldn't, it would be awesome if it did, it's just that there are a lot of homophobes out there and it seems like movie studios would be afraid of losing money.
