nayrt - To be fair, they key word in that is "was". Hunger Games was big... and now it's over. Pratt has two huge franchises that are alive and kicking and he's been the lead in both Jurassic World and the GotG movies as opposed to Lawrence's role as Mystique in X-Men, a smaller franchise that does not have the forward momentum of either MCU or the Jurassic World franchises.

IMO, she's got a more solid track record for acting, if not box office hits. But her career is holding steady (maybe a slight dip for Mother) while Pratt's is climbing and given that as a man he's likely to have a longer Hollywood shelf life than her and that the pay gap between highest paid actor vs. actress is huge... well. If they were racehorses, I'd be laying my money on Pratt to go the distance.

ayrt

But if we were talking about influence right now, though, in fact, since that picture is from Passengers promos, last year, I would say that she has more influence. Good box office can be tied to influence, but that's not all there is to it. Influence has to do with achievement, power (including, but not limited to box office power), ambition, connections, money, and presence. Yes, Chris Pratt may eclipse her at some point. He may stick around longer than her in Hollywood. Is she supposed to have dated him (which I don't think anything beyond tabloid speculation actually happened) for some influence at some point down the road?
