Where did OP say they thought their personal sexual tastes should have bearing on the show? Where did OP say that the show ought to cater to OP's tastes? Seems like you (and to be fair, quite a few people in this thread) are reading a little too much into the secret and being really eager to scold the OP for saying they were going to (omg noooooo!) stop watching a show because it didn't fit with their personal preferences anymore. How is that a crime, or even a bad idea?

That's what I'm getting from the secret, but I've had a bad day and am in a bad mood, so I may be reading into it. But the tone of the secret read to me like "it is bad they made the Doctor female because I won't be attracted" rather than just "I won't watch now."
