Eh, maybe you should open up commissions for gifsets. The furry fandom circulates a TON of money through artists and creators. There are a lot of artists and fursuit makers who live off the income generated from their creations. Not saying you can do that with gifsets, but I'm sure somebody would bite.

Why not try? It's paying for convenience. Sure, I (a theoretically furry) could theoretically learn GIF making, but I don't find it interesting or have the time I want to devote. I could ask a friend and wait till they have the time and want to and even then I'd better not ask too often or I'm "That Guy"tm.

So yeah, I bet you'd find a small audience. Just be sure to charge the amount you're actually willing to work for. If it's super easy for you, maybe a couple bucks is enough. If it's time consuming or expensive (to access material) then charge more. See what happens. Tell us, oh Furry GIFFer

:)

I say go for it, either set up commissions or a donations thing or both. The furry community is better than most about being generous to its contributors.

i like how it just happened to you.

No opinion on whether you should charge or not. I'm sure there's plenty of factors involved in that decision.

I know gif makers in some of the sports fandoms use ko-fi for "donations" for gif-sets. That could be an option maybe?

set up a ko-fi and ... gif in hell?
