In a very dry, even pedantic sort of way. I'm okay with Taylor Swift (like some of her music, don't really get either the hate or the obsession), but this sort of thing pokes fun at celebrity culture.

I think it's more the examples that OP chose?

There were a lot of jokes and also a lot of people making a bunch of political points and telling stories, and OP mostly chose the latter category in their examples.
