I read turnip. But I like turnips, they're not the worst.

Turnips don't impregnate their sisters, kill their best friends, and call themselves obnoxiously emo sounding names like "Wronged" and "Bloodstained Son of Ill-Fate."

Credit where due, he didn't know she was his sister.

There is a good chance they could pollinate their sisters though. And who knows what they call themselves: "Bulbous keeper of a great lot of vitamins" or "Preventer of famine", perhaps?

Turin is indeed the worst.

There's nothing wrong with those characters? And I guess it's blasphemy here but I never fully agreed with Tolkien's morals on everything and that some of them were apparently so bad they had to die. Seeing far worse characters get second chances and the ability to change makes Tolkien's treatment of flawed characters look a bit draconian for my tastes.
