Yeeeeah...and I didn't even feel like there was any sort of real buildup to a relationship there? Certainly Finn stayed pretty focused on getting to Rey the entire time (whether that's actually romantic or not is up to you but the point is, he didn't really seem to look at Rose as someone he was even remotely thinking of as a potential romantic partner).

The love declaration from her just came out of nowhere. Even if she had to save him, she didn't have to say it was for that reason. It seemed pretty shallow, to be honest. Why not relate it back to her sister's sacrifice?
