Weirdly enough it seems like it could be a collaboration as I have the series that Ninekoks' written, illustrated or both and it seems similar in some regard (just not watercolour). Heard it is angsty so would fit (it is why I have it :/).

That's entirely possible. I guess a lot of doujinka know each other, especially in the same fandom/ship.

Idea/Seina Rin are two versions of the artist's names, not what ayrt thought the pairing was.

Wow, that art. Artists who can do such amazing things with color impress me so much.

I always felt a little left out that I didn't ship Roy/Ed. I actually never even understood the pairing. I liked the dynamic between the characters, but it felt a lot more father and son type dynamic than anything. Plus, Ed's a kid, it was a little weird. But my lack of shipping made me feel like I missed out on a lot of the energy and joy of the fandom. FMA (the old anime, didn't watch the new one) was a rare anime where I didn't ship anyone (maybe besides a peripheral Roy/Hawkeye, and I'm basically exclusively a slash shipper so yeah.)

To this day, FMA has some of the most stunning yet depressing doujins I've ever come across. This one in particular where Ed is pining for Al and inwardly agonizing over it still sticks in my mind, the art was just gorgeous.
