Most of the stuff in most people's wardrobes doesn't crease these days. Ironing doesn't seem like an essential skill to most people, so it's incredibly easy to just not learn until you have something that isn't permanent press or otherwise indifferent to wrinkles.

You're absolutely right. I just thought that they would have learnt by now because in my experience uniforms are one of the things that crease the most and are more important to keep looking 'perfect' I guess. It was a fun experience anyway because my housemate really didn't trust the iron and freaked out thinking it was going to explode every time it boiled, haha. :>
