ffs Kuroshitsuji fandom Yana Toboso is not required to put trigger warnings on her manga and it's not like this was a happy puppies and rainbows series to begin with (I know most everyone hates S2 but it's not like Alois's backstory ceased to exist just because it's non-canon with the manga).

What suddenly made it worse? I only saw the anime but wasn't it pretty clear from the start that like Ciel was abused and raped when his parents died? or am I mixing up fandom and canon...

Also I felt so bad for Alois. :(

Basically the recent chapter made the rape part explicitly clear and fandom is melting down into a pot of discourse, with half the fandom arguing it's been implied from the beginning and the other half calling it tasteless for confirming things, plus at least a few people claiming the chapter should have had a trigger warning.
