What in fandom interests me: Uh, the smut and crazy people.
What in fandom does NOT interest me: Shipping wars. So, yeah, I don't really flock to any forums or anything.
Major Non-fandom Interests: I'm big into sports. I'm also a jazz fanatic.
My LJ Contains Mostly: RL stuff, movies, music, fiction recs, memes.
Other: My own LJ is, admittedly, not very interesting. But, I'll be sure to take interest in a lot of what you say. I don't like to talk much, but I'm usually a pretty decent listener.

I'm a sax player. His name is Benny (although he's been out of commission for a while, so I'm currently partners with Jack-o). Also, I have recently become obsessed with all things percussion, so, yeah. Marimbas rule!

I'm not really 'in the fandom' but I've drawn Samurai 7 stuff.
God I have no idea what I'm even doing 8/
I'll just say this then: I like the show. Seen the original movie and loved it, too.

I don't do much besides lurking for that fandom either. Your drawings are SUPER GOOD, though. I love comics as well and your art style is right up my alley.

I think the only reason I loved Samurai 7 as much as I did was because I'm such a huge Kurosawa fan and Seven Samurai is one of my favorite movies.

All that being said, is it okay if I friend you?
