Have you ever read Eerie Queerie? There's a short story at the end of vol. 1 that has the protagonist shrink after eating random seeds of crack, and he spends the day as a mini-self eating a slice of watermelon.

I read it as it was coming out, and my Japanese was a lot more shoddy than now, so by the end I was like "wtf?" So I bought the taknoubon and reread them years later and even looked up translations to make sure I was doing it right 'cuz I'm still like "wtf?"

I think she should keep her series shorter, like max 3 volumes. Because the longer ones all have that tendency of unraveling...
