I just had to comment and squee that I found another Chicago 'burb person here! SQUEEE!

:) The Chicago burbs rock. Deep Dish style pizza feels like a meal, has substance and is nummy. :) The only pizza I've had that was comparable was in Zagreb, Croatia.

Voyager was one of my earlier fandoms. :) I used to be a big Janeway/Seven shipper. Before that, Paris/Torres.

Word. I know everytime we get Ginos or Giorodannos one slice feels like enough for me! I think the only other style pizza I had was New York. Blech. Just not the same...

Oh definitely Paris/Torres, and I always considered Janeway/Seven to be one of my secret ships. *looks over shoulder*

:DD

I love Ginos pizza. Who would ever have thought spinach on pizza? But the way they make it, it totally rocks.

I love J/7. Campus by anik la chev (http://home.arcor.de/hanninanni/) is possibly one of my favorite ubers ever. Bailey B (http://www.baileyb.the-voyager-collective.cc/) is one of the best authors I have read in terms of making Janeway's behavior seem logical.

Back in the day, Paris/Torres wise, I was a huge fan of Danger Mom and Janet. I also really liked mcmoose's Janeway/Chakotay even though I generally found the ship abhorrent.

See I'm so old school I wasn't on the net when I did ST:V fanfiction. I don't think I even had internet then... nope. I didn't. :)

So I will definitely take your recs. It'd be great to go back down memory lane of this series!

I was on-line in 1998 and reading some of that. :) Some of my favorites I'm scared to go back and reread lest they not hold up to my memory.

Hey -- also very interested in fan history; mind if I friend you? (Yes, I know this is a friending meme, but I think it's always good to ask).

No, I don't mind. :)
