Fandoms: Mostly Avatar and WoW, leaning more towards the latter recently (as I wait and wait and wait for the finale of the former)
What in fandom interests me: In terms of WoW, creating original characters and discussing lore, as well as the actual gameplay aspects. In Avatar, I'm a fan of Zuko and Katara (and have written a few stories to that effect), but I'm also interested in the show generally, and discussions about any of its aspects. I also like making character soundtracks :o
What in fandom does NOT interest me: People who elevate fandom opinions to relationship-breaking status; if you hate Z and K with a passion I am fine with it, but it's just silly to get into petty name-calling over it. Similarly, if you love Arthas but hate Illidan, that's fine with me, even though my preference is the opposite. gotta chillax, people (a potent combination of chilling and relaxing)
Major Non-fandom Interests: Writing (tho I guess this counts for both), reading, teaching, petting kitties, hangin' out
My LJ Contains Mostly: Lately? In the public entries, my original and fanfic writing, with the latter being comprised primarily of WoW RP stuff. Occasional Avatar writing, when the inspiration strikes. Some book reviews also. Locked entries contain the usual vomiting of RL concerns--rants about students, my department, and so on.
