Re: Why Do You Ship What You Ship

I don't have a dynamic-type as I'll be drawn to anything so long as I like the interactions, so I've got some seriously fucked up ships along with some happy ones.

I do however tend to ship happy more often than not, and unless it's an abusive as fuck ship my want to ship them is because I absolutely think they'd be good for each other(or they are good for each other in the canon since I like to canon-ship too). So nice interactions are more likely to get me to ship than negative ones.

But the pattern I do have is that it's nearly always my favourite character paired off with another, usually my second favourite and since I favour OTP-type shipping I am very, very rarely into other ships with those characters.

(There are exceptions to this, but I'd say 9/10 I am Not Interested in shipping my OTP with anyone else. I also have a few canons where my fave character is not part of anything I ship or my OTP for that canon).
