One of my favorite types is enemies who used to be friends/lovers. Hello, Doctor/Master in all its iterations.

Beyond that, I have no patterns. I have OTPs and OT3s and fandom bicycles and sometimes I'll just kind of ship everyone in a group with anyone else in the group. An example of the latter would be U.N.I.T. Dating Controversy, which includes the 3rd Doctor, Delgado!Master, Liz Shaw, Jo Grant, Sarah Jane Smith, the Brigadier, Mike Yates, and John Benton.
