Re: REGARDING THE SECRET...since everybody's griping about the damn pic...

Are you denying that, objectively, Kylo Ren might as well have been depicted attempting to *actually* rape Rey? Because the fall-in-love-with-one's-rapist (as-long-as-we-don't-CALL-it-rape) trope about as literally a universal standard for fucked-up as we can get in shipping.

da

I'll deny it. Kylo entered Rey's mind against her will in TFA just like Luke entered Ben's mind without consent in TLJ. And I have yet to see anyone call Luke a rapist.

hahaha, I totally anonfailed. But that's OK, I stand by my opinion anyway. Here's my comment.

"objectively," doesn't mean what you think it means. That interpretation is actually pretty damn subjective.

Did you forget that she gave back as good as she got, and forced (heh, pun intended) her way into his mind as well? If it was "rape," then she "raped" him back. Luckily, though, it actually wasn't rape at all!

Enemies fight dirty, imagine that. She's his rival, not his victim, and we know now that they're fairly evenly matched.
