Nayrt but I think it's fine to ship anything, as long as you don't try to say that an unhealthy relationship is a healthy one? There's been a lot of lip service in this whole thread about "2 pure cinnamon rolls" when it seems to me like there's less Reylos saying "I love this fucked up ship" (because hell yeah bad dynamics can be hot) andre saying there's nothing wrong with it.

DA - I think the thing is, at this point there's been two years of Reylo shippers going "Yes, we get it, IRL kidnapping isn't sexy, we know. He's a villain, she's a hero."

At this point demanding they say it's abusive is the ten thousandth dudebro think-piece on "Maybe... maybe... few women in tech... because.... biological vagina????" It's getting sighs and eyerolls and not treated seriously.

In my experience, there's also been two years of Reylos saying he's not bad at all, just misunderstood, that Rey was "just as mean to him", and frankly some REALLY awful comments about Finn (including in comments on Daisy Ridley's instagram, for instance)
The idea that Reylos never did anything wrong is incorrect.

And in my experience, anti-Reylos demanded that we Reylos acknowledge how evil Kylo Ren is, so it became a meme that Kylo is a pure, innocent angel who has never done anything wrong.

Anecdotal evidence is the best!
