Last weekend I worked two graveyard shifts and next week I am working two in a row. (On Christmas, though I don't really care about that part as I don't celebrate Christmas.) I probably should say "no" more often but they only ask me if they are desperate, and almost nobody wants to come in on Christmas. (Which I can understand, but it's a nursing home so it's not like we can give everybody the night off.)

I'm thankful to have a job! I just have to mentally prepare myself for these shifts.
