God so many of us in year 5 never bothered asking questions or learning with him because he made it so un-fun. Like a few of us would sit with the textbook and try and learn what we could but we'd avoid getting his attention at all costs.

It wasn't worth it.

Yeah if you're teaching kids you should be intending to idk, make it fun? Make the journey of knowledge inspiring so that the kids will want to seek out more things? Not according to some teachers I had during my childhood.
