I saw it today and I liked it. There were some genuine laugh-out-loud funny moments. I liked the way they constructed it.

I loved it!!

Saw it last night with my husband and nephew - I thought it was genuinely funny and sweet throughout, Jack Black was a delight to watch, and the romance bits were sweet and genuine-seeming, it was overall very well cast, very well put together, a fitting tribute to the original (which was totally one of my favorite movies as a kid!)

Yes, it was sweet, wasn't it? And I liked everyone in their roles (though I could have done with fewer bugs on Van Pelt). I didn't even really mind the CGI animals, which is the only thing that ever bothered me about the original.

I want to see it, but I can only afford one movie this month, so Star Wars it is.

Watched it with my mom a few days back. I have... mixed feelings. I like the characters and some of the scenes, but there were parts of the film that felt like a slog. The absence of music in some parts was obvious to both of us.

I like it, but maybe just for a single viewing.
