It's not the fact that she's triggered. It's that every time she's triggered, she's launching an attack on someone, regardless of their guilt. That's not a healthy response to any situation. She needs to talk to a therapist or at least step away and give herself a couple of hours to think someone's words over before deciding they're horrible little rape apologists who are beyond redemption and deserve to be slammed.

nayrt, obviously but yep, this. I don't see anyone here blaming or making fun of McGowan for being triggered or having flashbacks. I do see people criticizing her actions. Sexual assault victims deserve our empathy and compassion, but that doesn't mean that their behavior is above criticism and must never be examined.
