I like most of Poets of the Fall's discography, but "Temple of Thought" was particularly strong in that regard. That being said, it does contain the one song I removed from my media player so it wouldn't come up even accidentally (The Happy Song), so it's not perfect. But then, very few albums are.

"Minutes to Midnight", "Thousand Suns" and "Living Things" by Linkin Park. "Hunting Party" fell down on that track record.

It's probably not surprising that I can listen through the whole of Beethoven's 9th Symphony.

I was going to say the first three Linkin Park albums, lol. Though I agree with 'Living Things', not so much with 'Thousand Suns'. And also agree on 'Hunting Party'. =)

Well I can't listen through "Hybrid Theory" and I don't have "Meteora".

My favourite song remains "Burn It Down" though.

Any of Janelle Monae's Archandroid albums.

Tom Waits, Rain Dogs and Mule Variations top my list, not a bad song on either.

Neko Case, Fox Confessor brings the flood. It would be hard for me to pick whether Case or Waits is the better lyricist.

While I do fucking love that album, it does suffer from "How to Build a Time Machine" (which like I can appreciate the Cheese Factor 9 but it feels jarringly out of place on an otherwise serious album) and "Bombs Up in My Face" (which is just bad). That said, some of the songs on that album are some of the best work he's ever done. "A Conversation With God" may be my favorite overall song of his.
