You could switch it up in one of them - make it wacky female protagonists, some grumpy love interests with too much power, some cynical big brother types, old bastard women, and some completely optimistic men.

Thank you! I just find it easier to write my main characters perspective familiar to my own. It's lazy and I need to break the habit. I'll definitely try your suggestion.

It's cool, we all have things that we are comfortable with, which is fine, but it doesn't hurt to take yourself out of your comfort zone every once. No matter what, you'll learn something.
