101. I thought that movie was sad, but also boring. Now, if someone would cut together to two Matrix sequels and make them one movie, it would probably be AWESOME.

103. (sigh) You know, people had other reasons to hate then. Like, they couldn't act.

Except that male characters with equally poor actors have not been written out of the show because of poor audience reception.

Much as I hate to argue this point, because I absolutely agree that female actors and characters are unfairly targeted in this fandom, I will say that Ash is a male character that was a) overacted, and b) cut by Kripke because he didn't like the character, or, I'm guessing (reading through the lines, admittedly) the actor's interpretation of the character.

I actually agree with the OP that part of fandom is extremely hostile to female characters because they are female; however, I kind of doubt that this part of fandom is powerful enough to get the actresses fired.

That would be pretty cool. Although, I find that if you watch the sequels in a row, it makes for a pretty fun experience (but I'm certifiably a Matrix geek :p)

Chinese comics are manhua, Korean comics are manwha. I have yet to see them marketed as such in the west, but there you have it :)
