Vol. 21 is the latest released in Germany. The wait between the volumes is murderous, but I'm glad I can read it in German instead of an even slower release...
(Oddly enough, "Rin and Anotsu.... CHAT!!!?!" is a much more exciting and bigger cliffhanger to me than any of the previous "Can Rin rescue Manji? Will everyone survive?" My priorities are screwed up.)

Yeah, I am generally curious about how it will translate onto the screen... stuff like that is interesting.

But I loved volume 21, too. ESPECIALLY the end. It had me go "want volume 22 NAO" and I went so far as to download its first chapter raw and attempt to read it with my kanji translation program, which... was a horrible failure. xD;
Well, we've seen the drawings so far, which sadly kinda fail on the sketchy, but seem otherwise quite well adapted. I hope they have a good animation, too. Though I must say I didn't like what the trailer showed of Rin's Flight of the Golden Wasps, it seemed a bit like a magical attack, which it isn't.

Oh, yes, absolutely! The arch was definitely great and incredibly meaningful for showing this role reversal, too, with Rin rescuing Manji, and even teaming up with some Itto Ryu to rescue her body guard she originally hired to kill the Itto Ryu...
It was just a bit long, and especially during the rescue itself, I kept hoping that it'd be over with the next volume...
(Of course, thanks to this, when it was finally over, I could feel the same sort of relief the character must have been feeling.)

Well... just his return. Otherwise, yeah. ;_; He should team up with Rin. Except that's sorta impossible. But they need scenes together. Like Rin and Anotsu do.
