105. Pretty sure someone's probably addressed this way better than I could, by now. But you do know that getting inspiration or happiness from something doesn't just mean they're "waiting for the next episode," right? People get inspiration from a lot of things, and if something's helping, it helps. That's it. And that's good.

If that were true, everyone who likes The Lion King, Rocko's Modern Life, or practically any Pixar movie would be a furry. Manga does not just have ONE drawing style. It has, if you actually look at any of it, some (http://www.onemanga.com/Monster/1/08/) extremely (http://www.onemanga.com/Dragonball/2/10/) varied (http://www.onemanga.com/Beauty_is_the_Beast/2/04/) drawing (http://www.onemanga.com/Bishoujo_Senshi_Sailor_Moon/1/08/) styles (http://www.onemanga.com/Count_Cain_-_GodChild/1/009/) all under that one label. Just because they draw more like this (http://i28.tinypic.com/2lbdq89.jpg) than like this (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/5/59/Akane_-_Tough,_but_vulnerable.jpg/250px-Akane_-_Tough,_but_vulnerable.jpg) doesn't mean they're any more original. And I'm sorry, but if you're reading something for more than just the "zomg squee pretty pictures! 8DDDD" you should know by now that THE PLOT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE GODDAMN DRAWING STYLE. So by labelling Japanese manga as completely, immediately superior to Korean, American, or any other versions, you're being kind of a judgemental stuck-up prick.
But then again, the comparison to "omg designer bags!" makes me think you're probably pretty shallow anyway, so. The fact that a lot of professional comic, TV, etc art is being influenced by the manga/anime style and its elements probably just seems like laziness instead of recognizing the merits of something done well, huh?
In short, I HATE when people use this word, since 99% of the time they're Doin It Wrong, but I feel pretty goddamn safe in calling you a weeaboo if you seriously think that only Japanese manga are worth reading and anyone else doing it is just lazy copying. Seriously. Grow up.

132. Hate to say it, buddy, but that sort of shot- tons of characters in different sections of the screen seperated by lines- has been done with a TON of fandoms. One Piece wasn't the first. Reborn won't be the last. Besides, the One Pieces on is them on CARDS. CARDS. Not a jagged multiple-shot effect. akjsfhakfj sorry I just go "wtf" at pettiness, seriously.
143. What, people whose interests change? Do you still love all the exact same series you liked when you were a kid? When was the last time you liked anything new? Do you think people should just stagnate and only enjoy a few things for their entire lives and never lose interest ever even after it takes a completely different turn or has been finished for a while? Thoughts plz.
