Help me choose

My mother wants to go to the movies tomorrow. She wants to see the Greatest Showman, which I'm not interested in. The movies playing at around the same time are either Last Jedi or Jumanji. Seen Jedi once already, will see it a second time when my brother-in-law is here mid-January. I do want to see Jumanji for Karen Gillan, though I'm not sure it is worth paying money for.

So which should I go for?

Did you see it? Is it good? The reviews are confusing and telling me nothing about whether it is enjoyable. I don't care about deep, but is it at least fun?

I;ve not seen it but my sister did and she enjoyed it. If you are a fan of The Rock, you will probably like it.

I've liked him in some things and not in other things. I've never disliked Karen Gillan in anything, though.

I've loved her in everything I've seen her in. And she has great comedy potential, as seen on Selfie. So I'll watch her in anything. Plus, may have a bit of a crush on her.

I loved Jumanji. My brother and I went to see it. Definitely recommending Jumanji.

Jumanji

It was funny and surprisingly sweet in places. I liked the way it was constructed and though I wasn't sure in the beginning, I ended up liking the characters. Even the CGI animals didn't really bug me (they are much better than the first movie, but still CGI). The only thing I'd warn for is that there are a couple of gross moments with bugs.

If it were me, I'd go see Greatest Showman.

I saw Jumanji with my mom on Christmas Day. We loved it.
