When I was a preteen through my early teens creepy men used to ask if my name was short for Lolita. It’s not, but I was so horrified when I read the book at 12 or so and figured out why they were asking. Also I’m under 5 feet tall and had really big boobs by the time I was 11. Now I’m old and fat enough that my boobs aren’t the first thing people noticed about me. I kind of want to lose weight and see if I’ll still be a 34FF cup, though. It would be nice for someone to find me attractive who wasn’t actively looking for jailbait.

I guess they hadn't read it either, since Lolita is short for Dolores, it's already a nickname.

AYRT—I know that, but my full name sounds a lot closer to Lolita, and more importantly from the perspective of creeps, I was a short 11 year old with long blonde hair, a baby face, and 34DDD boobs.
