Awful...and good? This is the second week of my new job and it has been SUPER boring so far. Today only my boss's boss was there and there is nothing for me to do. So he had me follow someone around for a bit to see what they do (position in no way related to mine) which only took half of the time he wanted.

Then he was like...uh...here is some info you can read about that I printed from the internet about the WRAP program we are apart of. Just read it and this small 20 page booklet over about C-TPAT. So I read it over and over slowly but there was still three hours left in the day.

I finally told him I would just read up on the sites for both of the above programs and I just a read a book on my kindle that was in my lap. Thankfully he left early so I could read my book without worrying about him coming into my office. :P

drinking tea and coffee and sending some emails and watching old episodes of Monk and soon I'm going to eat a pizza and then do a bunch of packing b/c i move soon

My mum wants me to sing her favourite song on her birthday, since I've been in the choir for some three or four years. I don't think she quite appreciates the difference in skills required between singing as a part of a four+ part harmony, and carrying a melody solo. I'm not afraid of making a fool of myself in the company of people I love, but I really do not want to massacre one of the most beautiful songs I know.

So yeah, I've spent some quality time with the piano, howling away and cringing.

Really good so far: I'm off work today so I went to brunch with my husband and had mimosas and a Denver omelette. Then I did my nails, the polish strips I used were kinda meh in the package but look great on, so I'm happy. We're going out to dinner later on.

I got some groceries and my roommate went to the new Star Wars movie with his boyfriend and his bf's parents and I'm sitting around here listening to David Bowie and I have to go to my boring weight loss class tonight and I don't want to because I ate too much on Xmas.

The good news: the new meds are definitely working now. Which is good cause the last time I had something that worked the side effects were horrible and this time there's none.

The bad news: as you can see by my stream post above, my taste in movies have not improved.

But seriously it's pretty good these days.

Still sick. Bleh. Did go out for a couple hours and saw Jumanji. It was fun. Karen and the Rock were the best parts in it. I wouldn't say it was amazing. But I enjoyed it. Other than that, slept. Still haven't watched the Doctor Who Christmas special. That is on my list for first thing tomorrow. Right now I'm going back to bed.

I worked graveyard shift last night but my assignment was incredibly easy and I even left on time which I almost never do. But I've been sleepy and out of it all day and playing too much Pokemon Ultra Sun because I can't motivate myself to do anything else.

Not that any of that is so bad. But I have to go back to my regular job tomorrow and I'm a little nervous about it.
