that may be so but i saw a national news report about this so the assfury has gotten quite public and has pretty much embarrassed the sw fandom as a whole. that's why i can see how op thinks the entire fandom is batshit crazy.

Not to mention all those semi-relevant Youtube channels posting video after video about "What Star Wars fans hated about the new movie" etc. Like... can I be excluded from that narrative?

lol i'm so not surprised

every corner is batshit crazy. i'm by no means a casual fan with my stormpilot fic, but hooooly moley am i packing up a leaving the fandom. so many whiny brats over a movie about space wizards. i tried so, so hard to find a sane corner of the sw fandom. i am convinced it doesn't exist. when i get away from the hate train for TLJ, i only encounter the truly petty shipwars over who should date rey.
