Yeah, that was my thought. Well, she was technically OP in the first one, too. But her personality was likeable enough. I'm not sure her personality was quite as likeable in this one though. She wasn't unlikable, or anything, just not as interesting to watch to me as Kylo.

I can overlook her being OP in TFA to a certain extent - especially the fight at the end can be chalked up to Kylo being seriously disadvantaged from taking a blaster shot to the gut etc.
In TLJ though, it was dialled up to eleven, but in a way that was entirely too contrived and it was a strain on the suspension of disbelief even in the context of space wizards and space magic.

And I think her personality did suffer a bit, even if it was mostly scenes that were played as a joke. Not enough to dislike her, but it also didn't help.
