Agreed, "toxic" and "abusive" seem to be go-to words for tumblr teens who occasionally are scolded by their parents, or otherwise want to ship-shame their NOTP.

Pedophilia, because no one seems to understand that it applies to prepubescent kids. Teens is not pedophilia. This isn't a "language changes and evolves" deal, it's objectively wrong 99% of the time it's used in fandom.

and you get people who will act as if age differences are evil in every situation even between adults. Or that a 16 year old and an 18 year old is the same level of bad as say, a 14 year old and a 40 year old.

(remember teens, you're an innocent victim until you get with someone one or two years below you and then you're the same as Roy Moore dating 14 year olds.)

Even Roy Moore dating a 14 year old wasn't pedophilia though. Don't get me wrong, he's scum and it's still gross as hell for a grown adult to date a young teen and should absolutely be illegal. But that's not pedophilia either.
