I love pulp. I mean, I also love non-pulpy things, but a fun gonzo adventure story is just really fundamentally enjoyable and satisfying. It satisfies a really deep itch, it's one of my favorite formats for fiction, I love pulpy stories to death. also, it's really adaptable - you can do really clever things with the format, and take it to really interesting places, without getting rid of the sheer pleasure of it. love pulp.
