Well, I don't want to have to do that either. If I'm drinking something, I want to just drink it. Solids in drinks are just weird.

It's all part of the delight that is drinking fresh, lovely juices. Pulp-less juice to me is like Tang. Gross and boring and not quite *real*.

I drank a lot of Tang when I was a kid. Pulp-less orange juice in no way tastes like Tang. And pulp in juice makes my mind think there is something bad in there, like when you've accidentally dropped something into your drink and then swallowed it. Makes me gag every time.

Tang is revolting.

It really is. But it was cheep, and we could get it in the Philippines. So when money was tight, that's what we'd have to drink besides water. The stuff makes me gag now. And it takes completely different from the taste of actual orange juice.

I've always hated it, it's just nasty. It's like any sort of 'fruit drink' - a nodding acquaintance to actual fruit, with a lot of chemical color.

I'm with you on all of that. (Even drinking Tang as a kid. Though I didn't mind it so much at the time.)
