Re: How do YOU remember a lot of names?

For me, I can remember names because I'm interested in names and have been all my life, so they stand out to me. The only names I have trouble remembering sometimes are really common ones, like Jennifer for women and a lot of monosyllabic male nicknames (Rob, Bob, Bill, Will, Tom, Jim, etc.).

Maybe it would help to find out something about the names themselves, like maybe that would help them stick in your mind? Karen is a variant of Katherine. Is there also a Katherine/Catherine/Kathy/Kate at work? Then you can remember those two women have related names.

I now know I will recognize Karen as long as she is in her office. :P But some of these women look so similar! Granted, some of them are literally related.
