I agree. Though there are some characters that there personality makes me think they are purely sub or dom always or with one particular other character. But that doesn't have to translate to top/bottom. And not everyone has to interpret it the way I do. Like, Spike from Buffy to me is the most sub character who ever subbed. But doesn't mean he can't top Angel while Angel is telling him what to do.
