This. It's become such a standard thing to be judgey when fandom prefers a particular character as the bottom, and to make subtle accusations about it being heteronormative and therefore both vaguely sexist and vaguely problematic towards gay people.

But honestly, I just like my bottoms to be emotionally vulnerable and my tops to be very generous and sexually competent. I don't believe my porn preferences represent some kind of truth about real life women or gay couples. I just like what I like. It's my kink and that's ok.
