AHAHA! How is someone just jokingly saying they have both making them special? I'm just really curious, actually, because people with Asperger's tend towards it more than your average internet dweller given their disorder's characteristics.

Er. If I wanted everyone to think I was special, I would've done it logged in. Kind of hard to get kudos when you're anonymous.

If having difficulty in social situations and being considered the feminine equivalent of impotent make me special, then I'd much rather not be special.

Thank you! I applaud you! Does this asshole honestly think we enjoy our social problems? I can't count all the humiliating social occurences I have had and how people made me a total outcast because of it. That's supposed to make me "special"?

They're being ignorant by assuming that the loudest and most annoying are the majority. It's much easier to stereotype than to learn.

I'll say. I know there are some, "Oh woe is me" people out there who like to announce it, but I don't blame all my problems on Asperger's. Half the people who ridicule it don't even know what it is. I've never really told people because it's not something that I want to share with everyone.

And ACTUALLY I tend not to mention I have Asperger's at all publicly purely so I'm not associated with the numbnuts who blame being a jerk on it. HENCE why I made the comment anonymously. I take personal responsibility for my problems and have NEVER blamed any idiocy I've had on it.

I don't think sex is gross. It makes me incredibly uncomfortable and frightened when I've attempted to participate in it. That doesn't make it gross. Sexuality can be a beautiful thing. I just don't get any personal enjoyment from it.

When you assume, you make an ass out of you and me. But, mostly you.

I don't know who you are but thank you. What you say is 100% true.

I've just recently been diagnosed with it as well and have zero interest in sexual situations. I'm not an ass to anyone and I would certainly appreciate it if no one was an ass to me because I have these problems.
