I agree wholeheartedly. RTD will always be superior in my eyes because he will forever be the man who did NOT CREATE RIVER SONG. Or write The Girl in the Fireplace. I'm sorry but Steven Moffat's only saving Graces were Blink and creating Jack.

He didn't create Jack. RTD did. He even invented him with Barrowman in mind. RTD just told Moff everything about him and he got assigned Jack's intro ep to write.

Jack=Not Moffat's character at all. I do agree Moff is massively and insanely overrated.

Oh good! I can stop trying to like him.

He does all the same things that RTD does. I don't understand the fandom's hard on for him.

Could be the hilarious dialogue...or maybe his pants-shitting use of suspense and fear. Just a theory though. And in regards to RTD's episodes, the comparative lack of gaping plot holes and gratuitous use of Deus Ex Machina.

Oh wait, let me guess. You're one of those fans who hates Girl in the Fireplace because it messed with the OMG ROSE/DOCTOR TRU LUV STORYLINE. Jesus. I ship Rose/Doctor and I wish people would shut the hell up about that.

You guessed wrong. I think that for the most part it was pretty well written but the fact that the doctor took stranding rose and mickey in outerspace so well was SO OUT OF CHARACTER that it clouded anything. Plus, Reinette was a bit too mary sue for me. I like Rose/Doctor but I also ship him vaguely with Martha and Sally Sparrow and Gwen Cooper. So chill the hell out. This fandom has become so obsurdly oversensitive and rude.
