If you go hunting through LJ and possibly some fanbased archives for Elricest fic for the 2003 anime, there's a small goldmine around. Some od it can get pretty angsty, but there's a lot of fluff around too. I never watched Brotherhood, but my impression is that there's a lot less of it there.

Check out Koi Kaze. Brother and sister grow up in different households, then fall in love after the sister moves back in with her brother and father. There's lots of angst and an open-ended/cautiously optimistic happy ending. (The sister is high school age while the brother is in his late twenties, which some people might find squicky, though.)

Seconding Koi Kaze. It’s like the anime equivalent of a mumblecore movie, and that somehow works better than it has any right to. There’s a sense that you’re seeing what real people might do in this situation, with just enough stylization to take the edge off and keep the overwhelming awkwardness at bay.

The pairing in particular I was thinking of for this secret is Stancest. For it's worth there's a lot of dark fic for this pairing but a lot of fluff as well. Here's a one-shot that I liked in particular:
