Oh man...I'm currently living without a dishwasher for the first time since I was a kid, and I know this sounds entitled but I hate it. Washing by hand is time-consuming. I'm either doing dishes constantly, or they're piling up in the sink. And hunching over the sink so much hurts my back. With a dishwasher you can just...put them in. Gets them out of the way, and then when it's full you turn it on. When it's finished, you put them away. And idk, maybe this isn't a problem for most people, but it gives me peace of mind to know that the machine did a more thorough job than I'm capable of.
