Hey, I am all for that. That one isn't even that weird. If Dean existed in the MCU, I can guarantee he would have a total thing for Captain America (hero worship or otherwise).

I'm just boggled at how anyone could mistake Dean Winchester and Steve Rogers for each other. Or could think that they somehow have interchangable personalities. I mean -- wtf EVEN!?

Yeah, that part is confusing. They are really nothing alike. Then again, a lot of people in the SPN fandom used to draw dean with blonde hair.

For me, it's not so much the physical likeness between Dean and Steve but more that they get pigeonholed as the same type of character? I notice it sometimes whenever people are comparing notes about Dean/Castiel and Steve/Bucky, where their headcanons on Tumblr make it sound like they're the same ship with the same people whose names have been changed. It confuses me, because I think Dean and Steve couldn't be more different.

...And I realized just now that maybe I just follow way too many people who have migrated from SPN to MCU, and that my dashboard is probably a reflection of that. D:

Right? I just started watching Supernatural and I can't imagine how people think their personalities are all that similar.

How anyone could mistake these two (except MAYBE a quick glance), or assume they have interchangeable personalities is beyond me.
