What things never fail to make you smile? Watching my cat sleeping on her back with one paw hanging over her cat tree. She never fails to make me smile. Every time I look at her.

Dawww. Mine hasn't done that yet, at least that I've seen. She plays with her own paw sometimes, though.

Cats always make me smile, my own kitties especially, but just seeing a picture of another persons cat is enough to make me grin and feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

All my ships make me smile, fanart, videos, whatever. Imma all mushy for them.

Also animals being cute in general, I just love animals a lot man.

Cute animal videos are one of the best things to turn to when you’re feeling down. Thank god for the souls who upload videos of their pets doing silly shit.

Oh man same here, if I'm not feeling a great a several hour youtube cute-animal video spiral helps at least a little.

Kitties are the best. Pictures are great, but in person is so much better. She just fills me with so much joy. I hope I'm able to give her as much happiness as she gives me (though I would appreciate if that happiness stopped involving playing with feet).

Having them irl is the best for sure, if I've got no other choice then seeing other people's will make me feel fuzzy, but nothing beats having an actual kitty curled up on you sleeping.

Or watching them play with their toys.

Yes to sleeping on you. My mom hates it when Joanna tries to sleep on her feet, and I don't get it. I love it when she sleeps on my feet. It is adorable. And I love that she's now feeling at home in the whole house.

Some people are unable to appreciate kitty cuddles, it is a sad thing.

Sleeping on the feet is adorable though, and I'm so glad she's settling in well, I love it when cats are totally at home in a new place and when they understand that they're there to stay as well.

It is almost hard to believe there was no cat here a month ago. She's made it hers here.

My mom and my sister laughing about something silly. They both struggle with anxiety disorders (I do too actually) that whenever I see them just relaxing and laughing over nothing, I feel like the world is still a little bit alright.

Also, as of recently: my boss’s smile.

She’s the kind of person who looks incredibly serious and a bit intimidating until she smiles. She has one of those “crinkles around the eyes and reaches her eyes” kind of smile. Her whole demeanor just changes and I can’t help smiling when she smiles.

(I’m also a bit biased on that last part since I’ve got a definite crush on her...)

Also, good food. Good food is the best smile-maker.

When I wake up before my alarm and realize I still have two hours before I have to get up.

Babies laughing and my dog falling asleep with his head on his favorite chew toy.

Seeing people find happiness in this world.

My dog is a mutt, and her legs are too short for her to sit properly, so she always has to sit hunched over with her back legs out sorta like this https://i.ytimg.com/vi/vFo18ht6SJo/hqdefault.jpg I think it's so funny, always makes me smile

Our cats. Charlie in particular is such a little goofball. He's just been diagnosed with kidney failure and when I ordered his renal food, I threw in a couple of feather-dangler toys that arrived today and I nearly happy-cried at seeing how playful/energetic he still is. Doing the whole peeking round corners thing and the 'butt-wiggle' pounce and everything. My brave boy. <3

This one particular picture of one of my ships being cuddly that somehow ended up in a folder that I frequently have to use for work. (I'm not being sarcastic, I honestly don't know how it ended up in that folder, but once I realized it was I decided to leave it there.) So at least once I day I will randomly see it and go "awwww" all over again.
