TMI Corner.

What TMI problems or pleasures are going on in your life?

Saw a new gynocologist today. I really like her. She actually listened to me and believed me. Going to stick with getting my regular depo shot for this month. But she's going to do an ultrasound, look at my record, and we may be trying a different kind of depo that will put me in temporary artificial menopause so we can figure out if my problems are estrogen-related. And she okayed me taking Tramadol for cramps, which was nice.

Basically, still have no idea what is wrong with me. But she realizes that there is, unlike my previous doctor who wasn't listening and didn't believe me. And we're going to try some things.

I had a between periods period for the first time ever. That was a delight. At least it was light enough to just need pantyliners, but, goddamnit, it was supposed to be another two weeks!!

Ugh. I'm sorry, anon. I'm on one now too (after an extra-long period in December). Sucks.

I have a boil/ingrown hair at the back of my vulva (right where it meets the perineum). It is SO PAINFUL. I've taken hot baths, applied hot compresses, and am currently sitting on a heating pad. I which this fucker would pop and give me some release.

I'm gonna guess you've tried reaching back there and, um, forcing the issue?

God, though, popping things anywhere between the legs hurts like a bitch, and it gushes forEVER.

I'd take a needle to it if I wasn't worried about the fact I can't see it. I've tried squeezing it but it is so stubborn.

Augh argh ugh oh blech ew. I’m so sorry, that sounds horrible. May it drain soon and never come back.

My condolences! I've never gotten one there, but I get those fuckers in the labia region on a regular basis. Protip - once it pops and you get all the nasty stuff out and wash it, dab some antibiotic ointment on it until it closes up. It'll speed the healing and hopefully prevent it from re-infecting.

Interstitial Cystitis is fucking awful.

My friend has that, and suffered terribly with it when she was first diagnosed. It took some time, but she made changes to her diet, and now she manages quite well, without a lot of pain, although she does sometimes get flare ups. Hang in there - I hope things improve for you too!

I had ass pee out of the blue this morning. Felt like I had to fart but there was that little FEELING: having IBS-A for a few years has taught me not to just "go with the flow" when I get that FEELING, lol. So I went to the bathroom and lo and behold, ass pee. And the really odd/good thing, nothing wrong since this morning. Everything's fine. The mysteries of the digestive system, eh?

I'm having the opposite issue. I finally had a good full normal poop that I didn't have to strain, after three weeks of pebbly constipation. I don't know whether I've destroyed my asshole's elasticity for good or not, but in the meantime, I've been adding more fiber to my diet.
