I manage to play every mainline game still, but I've definitely slowed down from when I lived and breathed it.

Same. I'm always way behind with getting the games nowadays. I do play through them completely but I just don't have the mental energy to devote to getting absorbed in them any more. I still haven't picked up Moon, partly because I just can't justify spending $40 for the game right now, and partly because I can't think of when I'd be able to play it. :/

However I do have a Pokemon wristwatch that I use at work and I get a surprising number of clients of all ages who notice and turn out to be Pokemon fans themselves. It's fund to have a moment of geekage even if I haven't played the games in a while.

Comic Sans ftw!!!

I've felt like I can't keep up with lots of stuff for a long time now... I used to get overwhelmed, but now I'm simply more choosy. I don't feel like I HAVE to keep up with the cool kids.

But that's not really about Pokemon, so. Sucks if you really really want to keep up with it all and just can't :(
