I agree with this secret. It is hard to imagine her completely as Luthien because she does look really proper in old photos of her. But his love for her is adorable. They are as close as I come to real life shipping.

Oh, goodness, they used to throw sugar cubes at passersby when they took tea at a café. Tolkien himself used to sneak tea in the library. Not particularly wild stuff, but they were mischievous. Where do you think Tolkien came up with the pranksterish hobbits?
