One that I always remember was a conversation I had with someone about Eowyn and Eomer not being their real names, which led to a long discussion about Tolkien where I could nerd out.

I'll always remember when I posted a secret about the death of one of my favorite authors and a named user (who is no longer active here afaik) told me that I shouldn't feel bad because I didn't really know them and people died every day all around the world so it was no big deal. A few people told them they were being a douche, but they shrugged it off. I never had another interaction with them again and avoided them on the general comments because of that conversation.

I remember when stella_down decided to be a troll/apologist for anti-vaxxers in the GC. She thought it was funny and admitted it a few days later with the whole "devil's advocate" excuse. Beats me why people liked her and hated on dethtoll, but that's FS for you!

I love when people reply to me in a thread if I am the first one answering. I think people see my icon and just reply thinking I asked the question. I want to tell them they replied in the wrong place but then they can't delete their comment!

I also love people who are willing to offer advice (for instance when I was taking my trip to DC or job hunting). This community can be so damn helpful!

somebody, I don't remember who, complaining about people online "thinking they're being funny when all they're doing is quoting some movie".
My immediate response: "Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man."

There was this anon talking about fleshlights and people nicknamed the anon "Fleshlight." The anon said "If I must have a name, I think I'd like to be The Joker," and everybody was like "LOL no. Your name is Fleshlight now."

The one time I got into a heated argument but we ended forgiving each other and metaphorically hugging it out.

That one time when I gave a bunch of people weird but encouraging messages and everyone though I was high/drunk but no I was just sentimental.

The one time I jokingly submitted that liking anime girls wearing american flag bikinis but being concerned about it since it's against my political beliefs.

That thread asking if you'd bang Jesus.

I might as well admit this off anon: Years ago I posted a secret about a singer and how I couldn't understand his lyrics because they were in German. People in the comments told me his lyrics were great, and one person translated a whole song for me right in the comments. It was really, really nice and I still remember it when I hear that song.
